Wilco Experiments with the Cowbell!

Jeff and Will friends foreverIn my constant search through the bit torrent jungle of all things wilco, my morning jacket, and neil young, I came across this precious little nugget, performed by Wilco back in November of 2004, in Tempe, AZ. They apparently closed the show with a rocking rendition of “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” No reports on whether or not Will Ferrell showed up ringing his cowbell, in all his round hairy stomach glory.

I saw Wilco last month at Penns Landing in Philly, and it was probably the best show I was ever at in my entire life, after all these years I think Wilco might only be reaching the top of their live performance game, I saw them for free at Penn State University about a year earlier and it wasn’t anything compared to what I saw that evening.
